Thunder 2 is an extremely competitive 11.4m (37.5ft) IRC Class 1 racing sloop designed by Mark Mills and built by 2HO Ltd in 2000.

She has been a trophy winner since her launch. Coming 3rd in her first Cowes Week Regatta in 2000, she went on to win the IT Regatta (now called the Silicon Cup), Cork Week 2002 and Class 1 in the Island Sailing Club's 2003 famous Round The Island Race. Continually updated she set off to Ireland in 2004 and took part in the 750 mile BMW Round Ireland Race coming 2nd in the 2 Handed Class, proving herself as a consummate all rounder in what turned out to be the roughest Round Ireland race ever.
